Water Witch in Central City is the bartender's bar of record — small, serious, bar-top-only. Bar-X and Beer Bar on Main Street are the neighborhood corner bars with heavy crowds Thursday through Saturday. The Urban Lounge is the indie-music venue that books touring national acts.
Utah bars close at 1 AM, which is earlier than you're used to. Plan accordingly. The ski-resort villages (Park City is 35 minutes) run different hours and different rules.
